MEMBERSHIP
Join Our Team
Some don't realize that membership in the Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary is not limited to spouses. Widowed spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, half siblings, of persons who were/are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States can too! Members must be citizens of the United States older than 16.
We encourage you join your local Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and if you know others who have eligible family members who are not already members -- we encourage them to join to0 and they don't even have to live within the same membership state! We already have many out of state members within our own Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Some joined here, then moved, and some were signed up by one of their family members here.

VFW Auxiliary Eligibility
Membership in the VFW Auxiliary is limited to:

Spouses (including Widowers & Widows)
-
Parents (including Grandfathers/Grandmothers)
-
Children (including Grandsons & Grandaughters)
of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. They must also be:

Citizens of the United States

United States Nationals
-
Profess a belief in God
-
Not less than sixteen (16) years old

Any current VFW member or ay person eligible to join the VFW shall not be eligible to join the Auxiliary.

Women who joined the Auxiliary prior to August 21, 2015 who are current members or are eligible for membership in the VFW shell be eligible for the Auxiliary so long as their membership remains current.
